10 Easy-to-Do Tips For Better Blogging

Technology and internet have opened doors to communicate and make business with each other. Blogging is a great example of this ‘new’ communication through the worldwide web. People from across the globe are venturing into this type of online business due to the higher chances of profitability.
A blog should be well updated so that visitors will stick with your blog. However with all of these points down here be aware that they take a considerable amount of time and effort – you have to be organised and committed to each task with enthusiasm and dedication.
Tip #1: Pay attention to the title of your blog posts. Use keywords in the blog post title and make your title the best possible ‘teaser’ to grab the attention of your reader to click the title and read the whole article. Catchy and compelling titles can generate a lot of visitors to your blog.
Tip#2: When writing your blog posts, keep in mind that you should keep it short. The best is to write an 500-800 word article, with your best (niche) keywords preferably in the first paragraph(s) for a better SEO of your site.
Tip #3: Be informed of the character and demographics of your blog readers. Knowing your site’s demographics means you can focus the content of your blogging site to appeal to your primary readers and your most viable customers.
Tip #4: Expand your horizons and visit other blogging sites on the same niche that you are working with. See how they do it, what kind of ’ingredients’ do they have on their blog? What are the topics in the blog that generate a lot of comments?
Tip #5: Your blog no doubt has a general topic. Try and keep all your posts related to this topic. Do not convey vague ideas and confuse the readers. Also, make your points clear.
Tip #6: Use photos. Not every post needs a photo, but images will help break up the words and may grasp the interest of new visitors to your site. This also makes your blog more engaging to your readers.
Tip #7: Keep paragraphs short so there’s plenty of “white space.”
Tip #8: Content is King! Be real.. blog about things that really and truly interest you. Do not blog about a subject just because of the fact that all popular blogger are writing about that topic (how much more social icon-sets do we need?!). Don’t try and please everyone and you are allowed to have your own opinion, so make sure you use it. Remember: it is your blog, enjoy it.
Tip #9: First impressions are important in webdesign in general and if your blog takes several seconds to load, is a total mess and quite unreadable then readers immediately will find the “back”-button .. Customize the design of your blogging site! Make your site load faster. Optimize your site CSS and scripts to make it run faster.
Tip #10: Find your Niche! One of the first things you should decide when starting your own blog is the niche you want to be in. What kind of target audience are you going to write to? A niche gives you a sense of purpose, please choose the right one.
Conclusion
But the most important tip is to reply to your comments! If your readers are taking the time to add comments on your blog, then you should take the time to reply to them. Make it easy to comment on your blog. Commenting form should be made simple without going through the process of registering or having a Captcha to prevent spam. Also, encourage your readers to comment to have a discussion going on about the topic.
